Direction of the Net Force
Your task in the applet at right is to determine the direction of the net force from the force diagram. Indicate your choice of direction by clicking on the appropriate point of the "compass rose", or the octagon in the center if the net force is zero. If you miss the direction, you are asked to construct the net force by using the head-to-tail method. Click the "?" button for directions.
