Changing Force
Your task in this Illumination is to use a motion diagram to infer information about the net force on an object. In particular, you will need to find (a) the direction of the force, (b) the time at which the force changes, and (c) how the new value of the net force compares to the initial value. You may want to review the Illumination relating acceleration to a motion diagram prior to doing this. Ignore any vertical shift in the dots; it is provided only to avoid confusion when the object changes direction.
