Note the Physics:
- For a constant velocity motion the spacing between
dots is uniform, and remains so as the time interval gets smaller -- the average velocity is the same
as the instantaneous velocity.
- For accelerated linear motion (speeding up or slowing down) the spacing varies
in time, but as the time interval gets smaller, the spacing becomes more nearly uniform.
- The instantaneous velocity is approximately the same
as the average velocity over a very small time interval.
