Things to Note:
- All examples in this Illumination have constant acceleration (which may
be zero), so the average velocity between two times is simply halfway between the instantaneous
velocities at the two times.
- The spacing between tracks of a motion diagram represents
the magnitude of the displacement of the object, and thus is found by multiplying the average velocity
by the time interval.
- The larger the average speed (magnitude of the average velocity), the larger the displacement over the same time interval.
