Note the Physics
- The displacement is
equal to the net area bounded by the velocity curve and by the initial and final time values.
- The displacement over a given time interval is also equal to average velocity multiplied
by the time interval.
- The average velocity is the displacement divided
by the time interval.
- The average velocity falls mid-way between the
initial and final values of velocity for motion with constant acceleration,
but not generally for non-constant acceleration cases.
