Graphs for Projectile Motion
The applet simulates the motion of a ball, initially moving upward and to the right, change its motion under the influence of gravity. The blue arrow attached to the ball represents its velocity vector. Graphs of the horizontal and vertical components of the ball's position or velocity as functions of time are constructed simultaneously with the motion. You can watch the motion and graph construction step by step by repeatedly clicking on the "Step" button.
