Vector Kinematics Demo
In the applet to the right you will see a moving object and its motion diagram over a given time interval. (Think of it, for example, as a ball in the mouth of a dog, as viewed from above.) This demo will show you how the acceleration of the ball combines with time to give a velocity change. This new velocity is the vector sum of the old velocity and the change in velocity.
