Head-to-Tail Addition Practice

The applet to the right will allow you to practice graphically adding vectors by the head-to-tail method. Click "Go" and you get two random vectors to add. (Click ? for instructions.) Check your work and update your score with the "Check" button. If your construction is not correct, the third (red) vector will disappear and you get another chance. If you do not succeed the second time, the applet will show you the correct construction.
