Parallelogram Addition Practice
You can practice graphically adding vectors by the parallelogram method with the applet at the right. Click "Go" to start, and two random vectors are drawn for you to add. (Click ? for instructions.) You can check your work and update your score with the "Check" button. The tolerances are rather tight, so you will need to make sure that what you construct is indeed a parallelogram. It will take some practice. If your construction is not correct, the third (red) vector will disappear and you get a second chance. If you do not succeed the second time, the applet will show you the correct construction.
